FAQs

Are there any pre-requirements for a Community Credential?

The only pre-requisite for a Community Credential is having a plan on how you will get to Denver for the speech. We will also gather some basic information when you sign up for a credential and the campaign may contact you in the future to volunteer. But you don’t need to do anything when you submit your name for consideration.

Can I sign up for more than one credential?

Because of the large demand for credentials in Colorado, individuals are only allowed to sign up for credentials for themselves and one other person.

Do I have to donate to the Obama Campaign or the Democratic Party in order to receive a Community Credential?

Community Credentials are free. There is no charge and you do not have to donate to the Obama Campaign or the Democratic Party in order to receive a Community Credential.

What about this promotion I saw on-line that you have to donate to Obama to win a special seat at the Convention?

Community Credentials for the Fourth Night of the Convention at Invesco are separate from this on-line event.
